The Newhaven Chamber of Commerce Networking Breakfast Club meets weekly and is an excellent way to meet new customers and suppliers for your business. Although the meetings are structured they are friendly and informal with the emphasis on developing relationships to help each member’s business interests.

Guests and visitors can come and network with our regular Chamber members, you’ll be made very welcome!

Newhaven Museum

Come and meet Stefan Storoszko, treasurer of the Newhaven Historical Society – a charity that runs Newhaven Historical and Maritime Museum in Paradise Park in Newhaven. The museum was founded by four local history enthusiasts and collectors and the Newhaven Museum first opened in 1971 in a small rented room adjoining the old Pilot’s House on Newhaven’s West Quay and expanded to its current location in 1996.

The collection held at the museum includes artefacts and curios; a vast collection of photographs; archives of local publications and town and maritime history records amongst its treasures. There are wonderful large photographs, aerial maps and paintings on display plus hand crafted scale models of ships and Newhaven port.

Stefan will show us historic photographs from the museum’s archives showing how much Newhaven has changed and will also tell us more about latest developments at the museum including the service it now provides – searching for and printing out images from its full collection of over 20,000 scanned photographs.

Don’t miss hearing more about one of Newhaven’s greatest assets and its plans for the future.
